My name is Pamela Smerker and I am the owner of Party Starters. I was born in Iowa in 1972, but grew up in Colorado.  I have a very supportive and loving husband who I have been married to since 1995. Together we have 3 energetic kids, two boys and our little princess.

I  started stamping in 1995 and have since then taught countless classes on card and favor making as well as worked as a designer for  a number of online design teams.

-In June 2008 I was honored to be in the Paper Crafts Magazine “Gallery Idol” contest. Out of 774 submissions I was awarded a spot in the top 10. In 2009 I was then published in their January/February issue.

-In July 2009  Party Starters was born

-In November 2009 Party Starters was recognized as “Dreamer Into Doer” on the Martha Stewart website.

-In December 2009 my mini cake slice box design was recognized by Amy Atlas.

I absolutely love creating with paper and love the joy that my creations bring to people. I am extremely particular about my work, although you would never know it seeing how messy my studio usually is. Every product I design gets my 100% attention to detail.  I am so fortunate to have finally found my dream job and I absolutely love going to work each and every day! What can I say…I am one lucky and happy girl!
